What these post and batten fences include
Every fence starts with the strainer posts, stays, breast blocks and foots at each end to keep your fence solid and long lasting. From there it’s your choice of quarter, half or full round posts in between.
I’ll foot the low points so that posts won’t lift over time.
The number of wires is your choice — seven suits cattle where you’re not worried about anything smaller getting through, eight is the general purpose farm fence and what most Rotorua blocks end up with, and nine tightens the bottom spacings for sheep and lambs. I’m happy to recommend what suits your stock, whether a hot/electric wire is worth adding, and whether to fit permanent wire strainers so the fence can be easily strained over the years of use.
Once you accept a quote I bring the materials, the gear and the team, and the job is done when I’ve left the place tidy.
How it works
- Ring me and describe the job. I’ll give you an indication of when I can get the work done.
- I come out and walk the line with you. We sort out gates, corners and water while we are standing there. The visit is free and there is no obligation.
- You get a quote.
- Once you accept the quote, I bring materials, gear and the team at an agreed date.
- We complete the work and leave the place looking tidy.
